Day 01: Arrival and hotel transfer

Day 02: Morning (9 a.m.)

Proceed to Swayambhunath (over 2,000 years old Buddhist stupa) towering on the top of the hill and commanding sweeping view of the Kathmandu Valley. Visit Kathmandu Palace Square: nine storey Basantapur Tower made of wood carving; artistically rich Taleju Temple; Kasthamandap, built from the wood of a single tree; and Kumarichwok, abode of living goddess, Kumari.

Afternoon (2 p.m.): Visit Patan Palace Square: main places for visit are old Royal Palace; Krishna Temple, one of the masterpieces of stone art of the ages; the 12th century Hiranyavarna Mahabihar, a still active Buddhist monastery. Continue tour to Pashupatinath, the holiest Hindu shrine with a crematorium on the bank of the Bagmati River. Visit Boudhanath, one of the most fascinating specimens of stupa design, surrounded by hundreds of Tibetan Buddhist monasteries. 

Day 03: Morning (7 a.m.) Journey by land transportation to Lumbini located at 270 km. south - west of Kathmandu. Lumbini is the birthplace of Shakyamuni Buddha.

Day 04: Morning (7 a.m.) Visit Mayadevi Temple; Ashoka Pillar; Eternal Flame; and Tibetan and Theravadi monasteries. Continue journy to Pokhara (approx. 280 km. north - east of Lumbini).

Day 05: Morning (9 a.m.) Take boat ride on Phewa Lake and view Annapurnas and Machhapuchhre (Fishtail Mountain ) mirrored into the water.

Afternoon (2 p.m.) Visit Pokhara Bazaar; Bindebashini Temple, and geological sites like Seti River Gorge, Devi's Fall and Mahendra Cave.

Day 06: Morning Fly to Kathmandu.

Afternoon Open for shopping or optional tour to Bhaktapur city.

Day 07: Morning

Optional programme for one - hour mountain flight over the Himalayan range including Mt. Everst (8,848 m.); return to hotel; and proceed to airport for return flight.
