Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu
Upon your arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu, you will be warmly greeted by a staff / representative from Ang Rita Trek & Expedition as you come out at the airport after the immigration formalities. You will be transferred to a hotel. A briefing of the trekking trip will be arranged at a convenient time.

Day 02: Swayambhunath – Kathmandu Durbar Square – Patan Durbar Square Tour
You visit to Swayambhunath - the Buddhist stupa believed to be 2500 years old towering on the top of a hill commanding sweeping view of Kathmandu valley, the most profound expression of Buddhist symbolism in Nepal and possibly in the world.  Next, you visit Kathmandu Durbar Square ( old royal palace ). Kathmandu, the capital city of Nepal, boasts for distinctive pagoda roofed temples, stone sculpture and old monuments. The main places you see Nine Storey Basantapur Tower with outstanding wood carving, Taleju Temple for its artistic richness and religious importance, Kasthamandap - a huge building believed to be built from the wood of a single tree and Kumari Chwok - abode of living goddess, KUMARI.

In the afternoon, continue sightseeing tour to Patan Durbar Square.  Patan - the city of beauty, is the oldest city in Kathmandu valley - full of Buddhist monuments and Hindu temples.  You explore Sundarichowk that contains one of the grandest bathtubs in the world, Krishna Temple - one of the masterpieces of stone art of ages.  You visit 12th century Hiranyavarna Mahabihar - a still active Buddhist monastery and Mahabuddha - the replica of famous Mahabouddha in Bodh Gaya of India originally built with nine thousand bricks bearing small images of Buddha on each and every nine thousand bricks. Next you visit Tibetan Handicraft Center to observe how the carpets are made by hand.

Day 03: Bouddhanath – Bhaktapur Durbar Square – Nagarkot Tour
Visit Bouddhanath - one of the most fascinating specimens of stupa design and the biggest one in the world surrounded by hundreds of Tibetan Buddhist monasteries scattered around. You proceed to Bhaktapur Palace Square ( old royal palace ).  Bhaktapur, known as 'the city of devotees', is a museum of medieval art and architecture.  You visit Golden Gate - the most beautiful and richly moulded specimen of its kind in the entire world, the Palace of 55 Windows - a unique masterpiece of wood carving, Nyatapole Temple - one of the tallest pagoda temples in Nepal with its massive structure and subtle workmanship).

After lunch, you proceed to. You proceed to Nagarkot. Located at 32 km east of Kathmandu at 2195 meters from the sea level, Nagarkot is a scenic spot renowned for sun rise/set as well as panoramic views of Himalayan range of eastern Nepal including Mt. Everest.  The views of the sun setting in the west and yellowish glittering Himalayan range in the north make spectacular panorama.  From this point, you can see the highest mountain of the world Mt. Everest (8848m) in the clear weather.

Day 04: Sun Rise Tour – Drive to Kathmandu
You get ready with your cameras in the dawn to capture the moment of sun rise.  The views of the sun rising and shedding light on Himalayan peaks one after another as the sun comes up make magnificent views. After breakfast drive back to Kathmandu Free in the afternoon.

Day 05: Fly to Pokhara – Trek to Sarangkot
Fly to Pokhara in the morning and commence hiking to Sarangkot (3 – 5 hours) for night stop over.

Pokhara
A beautiful city Pokhara, lacated 200 km. west of Kathmandu is a place of remarkable natural beauty. The serenity of Phewa Lake and the magnificent Himalayas, Machhapuchhre (6,977 m), Annapurnas and Dhaulkagiri mirrored on the lake prove Pokhara a nature paradise.  Phewa lake, Seti river george, Devi's Fall, several caves make Pokhara a city of geological wonders.

Sarangkot
Situated in the North of Pokhara, at the elevation of 1592m, Sarangkot is one of the  best destinations for sunrise and sunset tour and the great views of the snowcapped Annapurna and Dhaulagiri Himalayan ranges. The reflection of the Annapurnas and Macchapuchre seen in Phewa Lake and enchanting views of Pokhara Valley enhance the great charming of visiting Sarangkot.

Day 06: Sun Rise Tour – Trek back to Pokhara
We get up early in the morning and view the sun rise shedding light on the peaks of Himalayas one after another. The close views of Machhapuchhre and Annapurnas are fantastic from Sarangkot. After breakfast we hike down to Pokhara (2 – 4 hours) and enjoy boating on Phewa Lake in the afternoon.

Day 07: Pokhara – Chitwan Drive (150 km. 6 hrs.) – Visit Tharu Village
Drive to Chitwan National Park along the bank of Marshyangdi and Trisuli Rivers with beautiful nature sceneries. After Lunch visit to Tharu Village and elephant breeding center.

Chitwan
Royal Chitwan National Park is one of the finest national parks in Asia which was established  in 1973. There are more than 43 species of mammals in the park. The park is especially renowned for its protection of the endangered one- horned rhinoceros, Royal Bengali tiger, and Gharial crocodile along with many other common species of wild animal.

Day 08: Full Day Jungle Activities
After the breakfast, you will be engaged for full day  jungle activities: canoe ride on Rapti River, jungle walk with nature guide , elephant briefing, elephant ride,  slide show / Tharu stick dance.

Day 09: Chitwan – Kathmandu Drive ( 150 km. 6 hrs.).
You go for bird watching early in the morning and after breakfast, drive back to Kathmandu along the bank of Trisuli River.

Day 10: Airport Transfer
We transfer you to the airport for your onward journeys.
